Alinka ticks a lot of boxes for us. Smart Bar residency? CHECK! Panorama Bar regular? CHECK! Likes to keep house music weird? CHECK! 2016 has been a great year for her, already having tracks released on Classic Music Co, Crosstown Rebels and Defected. She played at Dalston Superstore's birthday party earlier this year and ever since then she's been on our radar. We're pretty excited to hear her dig deep into every facet of house music for her HomoElectric debut.
SHAUN J. WRIGHT
Born and raised in Chicago, Shaun grew up surrounded by house music. After a move to London to study fashion, he teamed up with Andy Butler from Hercules & Love Affair and the seminal track 'My House' was born. After touring with the band he returned to his home town and teamed up with Alinka to create Twirl, a club night and record label attracting interest from Derrick Carter and Luke Solomon. We've heard good things about Shaun's sets, maybe we'll get some of his trademark live vocals too?
Support is provided by our regular DJs who know you best; Jamie Bull, Will Tramp, Gina Breeze and Chris Massey. On hosting duties we have Joshua Hubbard and Ted Rogers.
