About Our Lady J
Our Lady J is a classical pianist, TV writer, and singer-songwriter. As a pianist, she has worked with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, American Ballet Theatre, Los Angeles Ballet, Mark Morris Dance Group and Royal Danish Ballet. She has also collaborated with Sia Furler, Debbie Harry, Antony Hegarty, Lady Gaga, Cyndi Lauper and Scissor Sisters.
In 2014 she was hired as the first openly transgender person to be a writer for the TV series Transparent
